Note: By deselecting the checkbox "Show active profiles", employees who have already been dismissed will also be displayed, who are no longer with the company. The data of these employees can also be deleted.

The deletion can be started by clicking on the button "Perform data deletion".

When you click on the "Delete data" button, the employees are sorted by name and listed in a separate dialogue box. and asked again explicitly for permission to delete data.

Note: Since the data deletion cannot be undone, it is strongly recommended to make a database backup before deleting the data.

Role of the Data Protection Officer

In TimePunch, the new role of the data protection officer is introduced.

According to the new GDPR, the data protection officer or coordinator has the "right of access to all relevant documents". The data protection officer has read access to all data within TimePunch. In TimePunch, he or she is thus put on an equal footing with the administrator, but without the right to change the viewed data.

The data protection officer can therefore monitor compliance with the deletion deadlines, carry out a data deletion, as well as the corresponding report. the "GDPRinformation sheet" for all employees.
