New Features in Management
FS#2278 – Approval of Project and Work Hours
TimePunch now also supports the approval of project and work hours. In the future, projects can be configured so that project managers and their assistants can approve project hours. The same applies to direct supervisors, who can approve their employees’ work hours.
The corresponding option can be enabled in the settings:

Work times are then approved either directly via individual entries or via the new approval panels, which specifically display all times from the previous month that require approval.

For TimePunch 6.4, there are also plans to make the review of project and work hours optionally mandatory and to integrate it into an approval workflow.
FS#2134 – New Multiplier: Budget Factor:
TimePunch version 6.3 introduces another multiplier: the Budget Factor. This brings the total number of available multipliers for activities to three.
The cost factor determines the amount of billed time, the time factor defines how working time affects employees’ time accounts, and the new budget factor defines the extent to which recorded time affects the project budget.
New Features in TimePunch Datafox
FS#2280 – Support for Uhlmann & Zacher Lock Cylinders
The current version of the TimePunch Datafox module no longer supports only Datafox access readers, but also lock cylinders from Uhlmann & Zacher. This opens up new possibilities in combination with Datafox access solutions.

FS#2282 – Sending New Notification Emails for Incorrect Time Entries

If an incorrect clock-in occurs, employees receive an immediate notification and can make the correction directly at the terminal.
