Quickstart

Welcome to TimePunch! This quick start guide is designed to make getting started as easy as possible – from creating your cloud instance to recording your first time.


☁️ Creating the cloud instance

  1. Open the page https://get.timepunch.de.
  2. Enter your company and contact details.
  3. After submitting, your personal TimePunch cloud instance will be set up automatically. 📧 You will then receive an email containing:
  • Your access URL to the TimePunch server
  • The login details for your administrator account
  • A download link for the TimePunch Management module

💾 Installing TimePunch Management

  1. Open the link in the email to download TimePunch Management or download it directly from here: Download Link
  2. Download TimePunch Management for Windows and run the installation on your work computer.
  3. Start the program and log in with the access data you received.

👤 Create first employees

  1. In TimePunch Management, open the “Employees” section.
  2. Create the first employees.

💡 Notes:

  • The employee's email address is particularly important for later onboarding.
  • The trial access is initially only activated for one user. This is your administration account.

🚀 Onboarding employees

Once you have created employees, they can be initialized – i.e., “onboarded”:

If you would like to test TimePunch with multiple employees, simply send a short email to info@timepunch.de. We will then provide you with temporary test licenses.

  1. Open the “Employees” menu item in the management module, select the desired employees, and then click on “Initialize/Onboard”..
  2. Select Licenses and then click on “OK.”
  3. The invited persons will automatically receive their personal login details for TimePunch.

🕒 First time recording in TimePunch Online

  1. Start the online module via the “World” icon in the top right corner of your cloud instance’s website.
  2. Log in with your access data.
  3. Click on the stopwatch to start time tracking – your first booking is now complete!

✅ What now?

You have successfully set up TimePunch and recorded your first times. Discover the other features and options now – e.g., evaluations, projects, or absence management.
